The concept of third place is a driving force in the River Queen values. Coined by sociologist Ray Oldenburg, this term refers to places where people spend time between home (first place) and work (second place). They are locations where we exchange ideas, have a good time, and build relationships.

The future indoor/ outdoor community and coworking space will serve as hub for creative, culinary, agricultural, and environmental education and engagement in the Eastern Sierra that fosters community collaboration and resource sharing.
